Net-Translators at the Localization World Conference, June 9-10, 2008 – Berlin, Germany.

The last Localization World Conference took place June 9th - 10th 2008 at the Maritim proArte Hotel in Berlin, Germany. The focus of the conference was the localization business model. Buying and selling translations are still done on the basis of word counts, the business model having remained the same since the early days of the translation market. Sessions discussed a new model, with efficiency improvement, service innovation and quality optimization at the forefront.
